How we Keep Organized: Planning Center Online

One of the great joys of worshipping as an Anglican is the ways that the service is so participatory. All of us are presenting ourselves, souls and bodies, to the Lord. We are a high-participation church! When we look at the many of the service roles that make up a Sunday morning (reading, greeting, setting up, A/V, children’s ministry, etc), we can see how challenging this can be to organize. There are about 10-15 service opportunities on any given Sunday and we still have a few more to add in the future (like the thurifer for the incense, for example).

To keep track of these things we use Planning Center Online Services (PCO). Once you let Morgan+ know that you’re interested in serving in worship on a Sunday, you will receive an email to sign in to Planning Center. Once you sign into PCO, you can view all the dates/times for which you’re scheduled, block out dates, cancel days that you’ll need to miss, view the order of the service, and find all the volunteer instructions. Download the app (You can download it either from the app store or Google Play HERE). It is free, it helps us keep the volunteer schedules organized (though you can also access PCO Services from your desktop computer as well), and it will help you keep your schedule organized as well!
