YOUTH MINISTRY

Our youth programming aims at forming teens and pre-teens in the way of Jesus. The youth meet several times per month for liturgical formation and deeper biblical literacy on Sundays (in age-based cohorts). They meet monthly for a fun gathering to eat together, play together, and build friendships. Some of the monthly gatherings will give the youth opportunities to serve the community.

CHILD SAFETY AT CORPUS CHRISTI ANGLICAN CHURCH

Just as with ministry to younger children, all volunteers go through the same safety training in order to keep our kids safe. If you love to disciples pre-teen students, there are great opportunities for you! Please read more about our child safety training below and fill out the student ministry application below.

In our church, we have 6 steps to keep children safe:

  1. Awareness;

  2. Screening;

  3. Training;

  4. Interacting appropriately;

  5. Monitoring and supervising; and

  6. Responding and reporting.

    These are outlined further on pages 9ff. our Diocesan safeguarding policy.
