YOUTH MINISTRY

Our youth programming revolves around three aspects of formation: Liturgical formation, biblical literacy, and invitational gathering. The following events happen September through May. Youth group takes place for ages 10 and up on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sundays of the month following the service. During these times we focus our time around liturgical formation, biblical literacy, and prayer. One event per month is designed for students to invite their friends to a fun gathering.

LITURGICAL FORMATION

On Sundays after the service we will use the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) to talk through how the BCP helps us pray. This time will be an introduction to how to read the Bible for transformation and how to be formed through worship. We will end our time in family midday prayer.

BIBLICAL LITERACY

Some of the Sundays following the service, the students will eat lunch and watch a video from the Bible Project. After the video we will discuss the video, and pray for one another.

INVITATIONAL GATHERING

One evening each month we will have a fun gathering for youth (ages 10+) to build relationships and create spaces to invite friends. This could be paintball, a movie night, or another fun and approachable activity.

CHILD SAFETY AT CORPUS CHRISTI ANGLICAN CHURCH

Just as with ministry to younger children, all volunteers go through the same safety training in order to keep our kids safe.
