Come for an outdoor, in person dinner, time of prayer, and discussion on a Sunday afternoon. We will gather for family evening prayer, have a simple dinner together, and discuss following Christ in through solitude, silence and prayer. As our text, we will use Henri Nouwen, The Way of the Heart with other passages from Ruth Haley Barton, Sacred Rhythms and Richard Foster, Celebration of Discipline. We will end with time to pray for one another. Children are welcome and parents will be responsible to keep an eye on their own children (we will be in an enclosed backyard together.
