This Sunday we celebrate Candlemas, the presentation of Christ in the temple. The children will be in CGS and nursery as normal, so for those with CGS (ages 3-9) and nursery-aged kids (ages 0-2), please drop them off before the service.

After people drop their kids off, we will begin the service outside by the playground where we will pray, light candles, and process into the sanctuary in song together. If you want to read more about the history of Candlemas, here is a nice article on it. We can find it celebrated in the church as early as the 4th century.
