Come and be trained to lead Catechesis of the Good Shepherd!
What is CGS?
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is one of the main ways that we form our children on Sunday mornings. It is a Montessori-based approach to religious formation that dovetails with the philosophy of St. John Bosco and his view of the dignity of the child. The Atrium (the controlled environment where children do CGS) contains small manipulative materials which the child is free to return to again and again in a moment in liturgy, scripture, and/or sacrament until the story is imprinted on their hearts and minds.
