How does the kingdom of Heaven grow when we are in a season of winter? The confession of St. Peter is like a pledge of allegiance for the citizens of God’s kingdom. We are called to grow in the depth of the knowledge of who Jesus is and it is the confession of faith that reminds us that God has the power to cure the souls of humankind and build bridges where walls once stood.
