Worship Music Director
Overview of Position
We are seeking a part-time Worship Music Director (WMD). Corpus Christi Anglican Church (CCAC) combines a unique blend of reverential, ceremonial, and liturgical worship with blended musical styles. We sing a combination of ancient and modern hymnody, modern worship songs, and chant. As a mission within the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA), corporate worship at CCAC conforms to the liturgical forms contained in the ACNA’s 2019 Book of Common Prayer (BCP). Our worship is historically rooted, filled with Scripture, and ultimately aims to exalting our Triune God and transform people into the image of Christ.
The WMD position is a part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) with CCAC. This position carries an annual salary of approximately $20,000 commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Maintain and grow the Sunday morning musical experience.
Lead music Sundays and other holy days (e.g., Holy Week, Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday). Leading music includes the following duties:
Plan the service set list.
Practice ahead of the Sunday service.
Print the songbook for the musicians.
Add the songs both to Planning Center Online (PCO) and Keynote.
Arrive early on Sundays to practice.
Ensure the setup is complete for the audio/visual (A/V) equipment for the Sunday service.
Train, coach, and disciple new volunteer leaders.
Integrate the children’s musical experience with Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) and the Sunday service.
Attend requisite meetings.
Attend weekly staff call.
Attend monthly staff dinner.
Recruit, develop, and train musicians and A/V technicians.·
Oversee leaders of A/V equipment setup and teardown on Sunday mornings.
Increase participation through a monthly musical event using the BCP.
Create supporting documents to train other musical leaders.
Learn and teach others about Anglican music.
Increase the use of service music in the Sunday service.
Increase the use Anglican hymnody in the Sunday service.
Update the CCAC Spotify playlist.
Provide administrative support.
Schedule musicians in PCO.
Track and report Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) information.
