Our youth programming revolves around three aspects of formation: Liturgical formation, biblical literacy, and invitational gathering.

Liturgical Formation

On the first and third Sundays of each month we will use the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) to talk through how the BCP helps us pray. This time will be an introduction to how to read the Bible for transformation and how to be formed through worship.

Biblical literacy

We have amazing adult and student leaders who love to invest in the 9-12 year old students at CCAC. After the service on the 2nd Sunday of each month, the students will eat lunch and watch a video from the Bible Project. After the video the boys and girls will break up, discuss the video, and pray for one another.

Invitational Gathering

One evening each month we will have a fun gathering for youth (ages 9+) to build relationships and create spaces to invite friends. This could be paintball, a movie night, or another fun and approachable activity.

Parents of students can sign into the Student Ministry page for the calendar and other resources here.

CHILD SAFETY AT CORPUS CHRISTI ANGLICAN CHURCH

Just as with ministry to younger children, all volunteers go through the same safety training in order to keep our kids safe. If you love to disciples pre-teen students, there are great opportunities for you! Please read more about our child safety training below and fill out the student ministry application below.

In our church, we have 5 steps to keep children safe:

  1. Screening

  2. Training

  3. Interacting Guidelines

  4. Monitoring

  5. Responding

Read more about each of these steps here.
